Sawmill is the facility where the first process in the woodworking industry takes place. In the sawmill, the wood logs are cut to form panel boards. The panel boards are then dried to the standard moisture content before being sent to the next process in the woodworking industry. The chainsaw is the main tool to do the cutting of the trees, but it is rarely used in the sawmill because it makes a lot of waste. A sawmill is usually equipped with equipment and facilitation to do the wood transportation, such as rail, lift, and pallets. The sizes of the boards are usually made according to the standard sizes in the woodworking industry. But the special sizes can also be made if necessary.
